The Black and Blue started as a passion project for me with the urge to share some knowledge and has since expanded beyond what I ever expected.

It has been a strong year of constant growth for the blog, where every month the number of visits to the site is higher than before. I attribute all of that to the readers of this site and their sharing it with others. The film world is, and always will be, a small group of interconnected crew and I am pleased to find my tiny blog plugged into the fabric of that community.

Whether this is your first visit or your 500th, I sincerely thank you for taking time out of your day to visit and explore this site. And if there are any of you who have been reading since the beginning, thanks for sticking around and let me know who you are in the comments!

I feel that The Black and Blue has hit its stride in the past few months and will be for quite some time. For year 2, I have big plans and some great posts ahead. I hope that I can see you in this spot next year, wishing a 2nd birthday to this dear site of mine, and that along the way we can share some insight and knowledge.
